This is the notice we give you before asking for your consent. Please read it — it takes about two minutes. The detailed Privacy Policy has more.

What we ask your consent for
Each purpose below is separate. You can say yes to some and no to others. Only P1 is needed to have an account at all.

We use your data only for the purpose you consented to. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising profiles. Your published content and public profile are visible to everyone, by design.
How to withdraw consent
Go to Dashboard → Profile → Privacy & consent and switch a purpose off, or email [email protected]. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. It stops future processing for that purpose; it does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. Withdrawing P1 closes your account.
How to exercise your rights
- See your data — Dashboard → Profile → Download my data
- Correct or update it — edit in Dashboard → Profile
- Erase it — Dashboard → Profile → Delete account
- Nominate someone to act for you if you die or become incapacitated — Dashboard → Profile → Nominee
- Raise a grievance — [email protected] or the contact form. We acknowledge within 72 hours and resolve within 30 days.
How to complain to the Data Protection Board
If we do not resolve your grievance within 30 days, or you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India through its online portal notified by the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY). The Board can direct us to act and can impose penalties.
Other things you should know
- Your data is hosted in India. Some optional services (the AI assistant) send only the text of your question to a model provider that may be outside India.
- We keep security logs for one year as the law requires, and delete account data within 30 days of account closure.
- If there is a data breach that affects you, we will tell you without delay.
- You must be 18 or older to use AdminAdda.
- This notice is available in English; on request we will provide it in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution.
